"I talk to coach Stripling all the time," Lambert said. "He's a very nice man. Every time I talk to him he's telling me things to help me with my fundamentals with football. He talks to me about what's going on in Knoxville. It's very exciting."

"I've been working on my stance," Lambert said. "I really work hard on my fundamentals and I also been working on my hand placement and my technique in the 5 and 9 technique."

Lambert has been committed since August, but he still hears from other schools. Both Georgia and Auburn have expressed interest in Lambert recently, but he remains all Vol.

"They keep telling me that they are going to keep recruiting me, but I tell them I'm 100% committed to Tennessee," Lambert said. "I talked to coach Jones last week and he is just telling me they need me and he can't wait to get me up there and have me playing for Tennessee."

Met Davonte this weekend. He was an extremely nice, polite, and humble guy. Asked him how many sacks he was going to get next year, and he said about 10. He was all of 6'3, surprisingly really lean in person. It appears Butch isn't into space eaters.

It would be nice to finally have a pass rush.

I can't wait to see this guy blowing up plays both at DE
and DT. I think Butch has seen enough of space eaters
when you look at the DL recruiting class you see a group
of athletes at both positions.

I'm tired of them too. When you have athletes at the DL positions you can defend a variety of type of offenses and you don't have to worry about drop off. They are just a effective defending the spread as they are defending the run.

Agree. Look at Corey Miller. He was killing it at DE and DT last night. I think CBJ would have done it differently given hindsight, and never said what he did about McCullers. Bigger is not always better.

Miller is one of those guys that will make an NFL roster and stick around 7 or 8 years. (Aubrayo Franklin)

In a article two days ago he says he's solid ...all Tennessee ...now he shows up at auburn.. big game I know but...
