Yup I agree. We would be in a bad spot if we were banking on Lyle and just now finding out he likely won't make it in.

Still think we should have pushed for London. And it would have been nice to land Devin Mitchell. We had room to sign 6 guys IMO.

I don't disagree, but who knows what they've got planned. Maybe Stokes returns, and they may have their eye on a JUCO or graduate transfer.

We could've had J3 last year if we didn't hold out for Nichols, and London this year if we didn't wait on Looney.

He de committed, they're loaded in the guard spot and he's very good but he wanted the chance to play right away. And now he's not cutting it in school so it's a wash.

Still not cleared by Oregon, NCAA has cleared him but not the school, and not looking likely.

Not sure if he would go JUCO or try to find a D1 school this season if Oregon doesn't get him admitted soon, but could be worth watching.

I definitely agree with your point, but I think Krag's point was he thought Lyle wanted to play at the 2 which we are loaded at. iKrager, correct me if I'm wrong please.

That would make more sense, but he's definitely a capable PG and that's what Tennessee was recruiting him as previously, so there would be plenty of available PT.

He's still signed with Oregon, if Tennessee has contacted him that's a problem.

He's very good at PG. The best part of his game is probably passing and getting guys open.

Enrolling at IMG Academy in Florida for the semester and will be able to enroll at a college in January.
