"It's cool, but you have to understand that's it's a blessed situation and take it all in and stay humble and enjoy it and have fun with it," Lyle told InsideTennessee after a visit to Knoxville on Saturday.

"It went real well. I got to do drillwork and play and it went real well. So, it was good," Lyle said.

"It's always cool to bond with them (the staff) and just kick it with them and have fun. It's always fun," Lyle said.

"(Martin)'s just a real good dude," Lyle said, "and he can relate to me and a lot of other players. He's just a real great dude and good person."

"I know I'm going to commit, if not sooner, it's going to be the day of my first high school game," said Lyle, who will be choosing between Florida, Illinois, Louisville and Tennessee.

"Just the coaching staff," Lyle said. "They're all great guys, and the way they play. There's a lot of pick-and-roll and freedom. It's just great."

"Oh yeah, I came out for the UK game and it was crazy," he said. "I think they were up by like 30 and everybody was still here. It was just great."

“it’s been great,” said lyle, who shared a room over the weekend with friend and ut commit jordan cornish, a top247 guard from new orleans. “this is a great place, and there’s a lot of great people here. There’s a lot to like about it.”

“it’s cleared my mind a little bit more,” said lyle, the no. 15 overall prospect and no. 3 shooting guard in the nation, according to the industry-generated 247composite. “i mean, it’s just to less to worry about. Some of the coaches i don’t have to worry about texting back anymore, and it just takes of a little bit of stress. I mean, it’s still kind of stressful, but i’m also still having some fun.”

“they’re just great guys,” lyle said. “everybody on the coaching staff is great. They really care about you more as a person than they care about you as a player, and that’s what i need.”

“oh, yeah, i like the motion offense,” he said. “there’s a lot of freedom within their offense. This is a great place. I like it a lot.”

The bolded is something I've been so thinking since the Richmond situation. I said at the time, I have a feeling we are really selling to him HE'S OUR PG OF THE FUTURE, which is something I don't think any of the other 4 are.

I don't want to get too excited because its always going to sound good in an article but I think he's high on us. Martin is doing the same kind of recruiting he did with Hubbs on Lyle. Its not all about basketball. You have to be able to trust and be able to talk to your coach. We're 1 or 2 in my opinion right now.

I definitely think we're top 2.

I think we land him, no inside info, just a feeling.

My prediction way back of Lyle, Cornish, London, Cofer and hurt may very well come true.

Would obviously love for demery and/or looney to be Vols as well.

Looney would just be the icing on top I won't get excited until another cut. I think he's cutting down to 5 soon. London or Deamery would be fine by me. As long as we add Lyle and Hurt. I think we need an experienced post player going into next season

If we get that class I may buy season tickets for '14.

Yeah, same here. I got some in the 300 level. But you get to pick your seat. I'm 7 rows up, no donation, less than $200 per seat.

He said he still wants to take officials. I don't think he's going to announce. We shall see.

He is, but he literally just got done visiting UT on Sunday. I'd be surprised if he came to UT on the weekend to visit, then decided two days later in June to announce to UoL
