We've got a little ground to make up, but with 14 commits here recruiting him, and Martin being able to focus on him, we can definitely close the gap.

I'm feeling better about Lyle everyday because I think CCM will connect with him and his parents. I don't expect him to commit until right at signing day if it is Tennessee because think what he would have to go through living where he does. Everyday he doesn't commit somewhere else is a good day for Tennessee. Louisville has recruited him for two years and he hasn't committed there yet so that tells me were a player and getting stronger everyday.

Agree 100%. Martin is a better influence on the kid than the other coaches recruiting him IMO.

Had a chance to catch up with Jaquan Lyle after camp today. Nothing really new to report since we caught up with him last week, but he had a lot of good things to say about his visit.

He got here on Friday and is staying through Sunday, said he's getting a lot of one-on-one time with the staff and has gotten an in depth look at campus.

Nothing new as far as his final four---Louisville, Tennessee, Indiana and Florida seen written in stone at this point.

Total speculation on my part but feels a little like Louisville and Tennessee may be at the top.

I have a gut feeling that we land this kid. If all of us Vol fans follow him on twitter and tell him how much we need him, then our chances keep becoming better.

I still think it will be a tough battle with Louisville but this is a good sign very good actually. I think we have a lot of things offense and future player wise that he likes. Hopefully he clicked with Cornish and the rest of the teams. All good things tho.

On Lyle, that's one of the most positive articles I've seen about UT in regard to him in a long time.
