Of course I have no idea what the kid was told when he was being recruited and or talked into committing. There is competition everywhere you go especially if your playing in the SEC. With that said, possibly taking at least 4 slot WRs(so far) in one class seems like a lot to me. (Wharton, Lee, Booth, Powell). Also consider the TEs will be in the slot on a lot of sets. RBs will be in the slot at times. Maybe Lee has an issue with the way it's unfolding because the numbers do not match what he was told during recruiting.
People are saying he must be afraid of competition. Funny thing is, if he were a bama or uf lean while considering Tennessee people would be saying "why is he going there, he will just have to sit and never get to play". When it's building our depth, it makes a lot more sense to people I guess.
