Well, actually, it's more of a school where players go who haven't got the grades or whatever to get into the college where they want to play. It's not like they go there because they're desperate to be in JROTC.
I agree Callipari, Donavaan, Pearl, The rest of the Sec. All are a bunch of idiots. Donnie Basketball can take 2 star recruits and win championships. Never has come close before. But I'm with the rest of you guys. He's the best coach evah!!!! evah!!! evah!!!
McGhee was fully qualified coming out of high school and had committed to Auburn but chose to go to Hargrave to try and improve his fortunes. He's now at Tennessee, so it worked.
I think you need to watch the video on their website, "A Day in the Life of a Hargrave cadet in 5 minutes!"Well, actually, it's more of a school where players go who haven't got the grades or whatever to get into the college where they want to play. Heard an interview today on Seth Stokes radio show and the guy being interviewed mentioned that Hargrave's coach knows Jabari is listed at 6'8, but said he has grown and now is almost 6'10. This makes him a much nicer option if this is he case.

There are 6'8 guys that play like they are 6'4 and 6'8 guys that play bigger and taller.
Reese was recruited higher than that. You've mentioned Reese having similar offers.
This was Reese's actual offers.
Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, Florida Gulf Coast, North Florida, Rider, Youngstown State, James Madison, UCF, Murray State and Tennessee.
McGhee's offers.
Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Georgia, Tennessee, Western Kentucky, Florida Gulf Coast, Seton Hall, and Marshall.
From his 247 commitment blurb.
Being offered by approximately 40% of the SEC is slightly above Reese's offers from 1 high major, us. But I'm sure you probably know more than the guys who do this for a living. What with all your inside sources. Like how you were talking about Tennessee slow playing him and letting this drag out a week about 3 hours before his commitment was announced.
-govolsxtraOther schools recruiting Reese included Central Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tulane and Virginia Tech.
-Orlando SentinelReese said his final four came down to the Vols, UCF, James Madison and Georgia Southern. Recruiting analysts have indicated Boston College, Wake Forest and Ole Miss were also involved.
"I'm very excited to add Jabari to the Tennessee basketball family," Tyndall said. "He's an outstanding young man who will bring length and size to our frontcourt. His toughness and competitive edge will allow him to contribute early in his career."
