So does he move to DE or stay at WR? I have a feeling he stays at WR
with all of the DEs we got in the '13 class and the few we will get in the '14 class, i think Creamer will be moved to OLB. perfect size and has the speed IMO.
Definitely too early to tell at this point. 6'3 225 and he could still be adding mass. At this point DE, LB, and WR are all valid. Though I'd guess with his size and athleticism, he gets his first look as a speed rushing DE.
It's not a given to just move a guy around just because he has the size. Some people don't understand that. Every position has a different mentality, especially LB and some guys can't just flip a switch like that.
He's one of the few WR I've seen straight from high school that truly has the frame to be a OLB. He's pretty much 6'3" 225 LBs right now. Shaun phillips is 6'3", runs a 4.69 forty, and weighs 250 LBs. Kevin Burnett is 6'3", runs a 4.58 forty, and weighs 240 LBs. All these guys became pretty good OLBs in college/NFL.

True, but this is a big kid. Most 6'3" WR in high school are 185 LBs. This kid is already 225 LBs. Would you rather come in as a red zone WR threat who plays situationally, or come in as an OLB who could play every down? It may be in his best interest to attempt the move, or then again he could come in here and prove to be the best WR we have. IDK, but he def has the frame to make the switch if need be.
Asking because I am not sure. Did Phillips or Burnett play WR in HS?
CP was 6'2 215lbs, should we have moved him to OLB? I am just not a fan of moving players around. If you need a LB, recruit a LB. If you need a WR, recruit for the position. If you need a Saftey, don't recruit a CB at 5'9 160 hoping to add 30lbs to him. Recruit a S to play S.
Well... They are recruiting him at ATH. CP has nothing to do with this situationAsking because I am not sure. Did Phillips or Burnett play WR in HS?

Lots of guys have the size. Croom, Megatron, Andre Johnson. Let them stay and be dominate recievers. Why take a guy with a exceptional advantage like his size and speed at WR and stick him at a position where he is just another player?
CP runs a 4.42 forty this kid runs a 4.6 something forty. Big difference. This kid was talked about being a TE until we landed Helm and Wolf. This isn't a CP type WR. This kid has a very unique situation going for him. There's been many players who have came in to college as a WR/TE and became darn good OLB. Here's some proof of it: Shaun Phillips - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ALOT of WRs in college and the pros do not run 4.4 40's.

Right and that has zero to do with my argument I just made. You guys need to realize that CBJs offense is about speed and movement. Travis Kelce runs a 4.5 something forty and played TE for Cincy last year. The rest of their guys were pretty fast guys who played a role. Creamer comes in as a situationally WR. He won't be an every down WR over North, Harris, and Croom who are all superior athletes to him. That's not counting the slot WR that will also play in front of him. We have wasted enough talent here with Dooley as it is. I just want to see the kid have the best opportunity to succeed here, and if it's OLB so be it or if it's WR so be it. I'm just saying if he wants to the see the field as an everyday player in the next 2 years OLB is the way to go for him IMO. Now, I'm done with this pointless argument.
