'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Its his choice at the end of the day not his family's. We are pretty lucky to be in the closest school to his parents. Also having Marco Harris here could be a plus because adoree dad wouldnt have to have worry about his son being screwed over since they appear to be close. JMO. Go vols and lets sit back and relax guys let butch do his thing.

joeydupree How magical was it when he touched your shoulder? Did you feel weak in your knees?

It was pretty freakin awesome. He was with his parents and they just kinda stepped to the side while we took the pic.

Adoree is an awesome dude. I hope to meet him again if he comes here. My gut feeling at that moment was LSU or Fla.

I'll be a fan of his wherever he goes except Fla.

even if he is at UF there will still be a huge respect factor with me for him. LSU is my 2nd fav team outside of UT. Considering we dont play them much. Adoree will be a baller wherever he chooses.

Don't know if we get this kid or not but the bottom line is...if he wants to be a VOL then he will be here. If he wants to be part of something special he will be a VOL. I just hope Volnation don't turn on this kid if he does choose another school.

No One has said a word about Oklahoma... When do they plan to visit? Him and Mixon are good friends they are no slouch recruiters. They must have a strategy..

This guy is not coming here. So, I hope he goes to USC ...outside the SEC..

Get outta here with that weak crap. This isn't Dooley recruiting.

We have no idea where Jackson favors right now but we know that the family likes UT. Absolutely zero reason to think we're out of it at this point.

Adoree's legal guardian is his Aunt, who lives in Southern Cal. That's the big problem, the Aunt is being woo'd by Sark. And she is listening.

According to USC and Florida insiders, his parents want him at UT, his legal guardian wants him at USC, and Adoree wants to be at Florida, I cannot even imagine the family struggle that's going on with this kid.

USC also signed some of his former teammates in an effort to pull more weight with his decision. I think he ultimately ends up at USC, and if he does, watch for his parents to move there shortly thereafter

How are his own parents not his legal guardian?

Did they shop him out there to get some sort of federal income tax deduction for the aunt? Maybe they used the aunt as a (air-quotes) "legal guardian" to get him a presence in California simply for the chance to go to school there?

Sounds weird... definitely a connundem :)

In order for him to go to school in California his parents had to sign over Guardianship rights to the Aunt. That's the only way he could "legally" attend school there.

As for the LOI, yes, the Legal guardian has to sign the LOI of any recruit under the age of 18.

2 years ago a recruit committed to Georgia, and his legal guardian refused to sign the LOI for several days because he didn't want him at Georgia.

Usually it gets worked out before hand, but, just answering an earlier question

Ah, thanks for the explanation.
