Theres an insider on another board I'm on who has a source inside FSU's athletic dept. And he's called a bunch of their commits that were "shockers" prior to them happening.
And he has said Jackson has told FSU coaches that he will be committing there.
Now, take it for what it's worth. Which is nothing but message board rumors, but FSU also has a pretty good track team, and a pretty good football team.
And he really enjoyed his visit there.

So three UOV to USCw, three visits to UF, two to UT(one of which with his father).
How many visits to LSU?
Honestly I think the kid is all over the place but if his family is in the decision and they want him to be semi close to home where they can easily see him play then I have to think we're a factor. Where is the family in proximity to each school and how often did they get to see him play HS ball in Cali? If this kid will compete in FB and Track there could be some serious appeal if his family wants him semiclose to them.
Perhaps but IDK that I see him dragging his dad down for a second visit unless there is legit interest. And I may be overestimating the proximity thing but I guarantee you have his family close enough to visit and watch him compete in track and football is probably a big thing. It maybe just as easy to catch a flight to either Knoxville or Gainesville or Baton Rouge.I hope you're onto something but I'm thinking the proximity to his family's home is overplayed.

Shortest drive for sure. Saint Louis to Baton Rouge and Saint Louis to Knoxville flights are about the same in time and money. I do think we offer more immediate playing time right away.LSU? That's a minimum of 12 1/2 hours. That's a plane ride. 7 to Knoxville sounds much better and economical...
