It is always convenient for Gator fans to leave out the azz kickin' they got from Louisville in New Orleans on the big stage last season. Everybody knows how lucky they were to even get there with Driskel and their limited offense. This year that has even gone away due to the injuries and a bad OC. That's the real world. Muschamp is responsible for having two bad offenses in a row in his three seasons. He also needs to look at his S&C program to have this many injuries. He is to the stage he owns what happens. He may get a fourth season to rebound from this. Maybe.

Yeah bc Teddy wouldn't have put on that show vs 95% of the D's in the nation. 11 wins is still 11 wins. How convenient for many to forget how UF won those game at the LOS and with an elite D. Most of those guys left for the NFL. So anyone thinking UF wasn't going to struggle this season is smoking or wearing very tinted O&B shades. Also ACL&MCL injuries have nothing to due with S&C.

Please oh great one. Teach us petty vol fans all of your wisdom .

I hope Muschamp gets at least one more year. Looking forward to his visit to Neyland next fall!:)

He will be looking across the field at Adoree' in his orange and white uni!:p

Anyone expect 6-6 at best?

IF Champ loses to Vandy he needs to be fired. Even if he somehow finds a way to beat SC or FSU. Sorry but this is still Candy(as UT fans call them). That would be a new low.

It's not really a stretch. Personally, I'd be fine with him staying at UF. He's a solid D coach but his HC career has a lot of questions attached.

I like having Muschamp in Florida. I don't want to see him get fired too soon and then Florida goes and pulls another home run like they did after Zook.

Remember a few saying 7-5 and that was before all the injuries. I was at 8-4 regular season and 9th coming vs a bad ACC team in the Peachbowl.

A question for you HG, the last two times I went to Gainesville for a UT game my car got spit on about 1,000 times at each game. Just wondered if you was one of the classy Gator fans that spit on it?

He needs 9-10 wins to keep his job after next season for sure. He'll get a mulligan for this season.

As bad as UF has been, they've still handed us our ass the last 8 years or so.

At least we've handed them theirs in basketball the past couple of seasons.

Name one program not named Bama who could lose 6 starters(season) and 11 total players in the 2 deep for 3 games or longer and still be playing at a high level . [/QUOTE]

Uh--who jus whooped dat azz? UGA has lost a TON of starters from last year's team, lost a lot of players to injury this year....

I hate da pups--but please don't come on here and whine about all of those injuries as an excuse and expect anyone with any intelligence at all to agree with you.

Where's your all-american depth? 'Chump has had 3 years to build depth at every position--what's the problem? And BTW--where's 99gator and the rest of all you Gators with your wise and insightful comments about the state of our program? I questioned the Gators quality of OL before the season ever started and said that you guys were gonna be 8-4 at best and could possibly be 7-5. You peaked at 11 wins last year, and probably won't win more than 8 next year.

And, after watching you play us--I did predicted that you would have problems the rest of the year with power running teams who could run misdirection and throw the ball on bootlegs...(LSU, UGA, USCe, FSU). I didn't think that you would lose to Mizzou.

I'm also sick and tired of the VOLS gettin' our azzes whooped, but our program is on the RISE and it's obvious! I would have loved to have seen this year's team play with CP and Hunter on the field as receivers (those guys leaving early is the same as losing guys to injuries during the season)--I believe that we would be sitting at 6-3 right now.

What's also obvious to EVERYONE watching is that the Gators are on the decline to mediocrity. The cycle is changing and you are not gonna like hanging out on here over the next few years...GO VOLS! :salute:

I'm sure any kid knows a coach can be fired or leave for another job. Muschamp is just removed from a 11 win season so 6-6 with all the injuries this year are what could be expected. Name one program not named Bama who could lose 6 starters(season) and 11 total players in the 2 deep for 3 games or longer and still be playing at a high level . What happens if wins double digit next year? Is he still out? Champ is also one of the better DB coaches in CFB. UF has built a 3 year relationship with Jackson and his family. He talks about his realtionship with T-Rob and he calls it the best of any coach. His father has also been speaking with Bryan Cox Sr on the regular about UF and what he thinks... This could all be inside chatter or kid speak but as Newberg said tonite after his FSU visit even FSU commits say it's UF.

I dislike you

Rots of Ruck on that one--No WAY, NO WAY the Gators win 9 games next year! And that's the point Ron Swanson was making--SO LONG Muschamp, the 2nd coming of Ron Zook at Fla....

He may very well get by this year. Even with 5 or 6 wins.

The D will bounce back pretty well. The offense is a mess and will take more than a year to fix , assuming it does get going in the right direction.

Ga is a 3 loss team. Not sure if that qualifies as "high level".

UF would look like another team all together before the injuries and with guys like Floyd, Elam, Jenkins and Reed staying for their Sr year. 9 wins even with Pease.

lots of toys to play with on O next year and this up coming class. Muschamp just needs to hire a real OC and stay the hell out of their way.
