If LSU secures both Jackson and Tony Brown, could be looking at a new DB run like Peterson, Clailborne, Mathieu, Simon, Brooks, Loston, and Reid with the 2013-2015 classes.

Toliver and Lewis have already been secured for the 2015 class, plus White and Robinson are basically taking over at CBs now as true freshman.

We'll see... either purple/gold or white/orange will work for me.

You guys do know that Vic Wharton is working on Tony Brown, apparently they have know each other from running track sense the age of 7.:rock:

You know Tony Brown's sister has been like his sister from the age of 0, right? You know like where she is going to school and is there right now on a track scholarship.

For the record, I have never claimed Brown is going to LSU... from what I know it's a LSU-TAM fight. I give it 50%.

He's an EE I believe, should know within the next 6-8 weeks... you never know... I never count the out of state guys until their on campus. He comes to games quite often on UOV.

Not at all. I am just being truthful, never heard of the Vols being in the mix on this one, however anything can happen. If he wants to go to UT I have no problem with it. I tell you guys I have heard have an interest in UT and I even warn about the trouble makers ie like Bourque.

Ahh forgot about Bourque. Boy he is really tearing it uo in juco these days. A whopping 16 yards total rushing in 5 games.

I've never heard of the Vols being in the mix for Tony Brown either but your post did come off as a bit touchy. And in my mind, that's a good thing for UT recruiting. You're a good poster :peace2:

I thought his post was funny, sorry if it seemed over reactive, I could see how it come off that way though. :mf_surrender: I surrender.

Jackson may have an interest in UT, I haven't heard anything like that about Brown, but I certainly don't know everything.

Funny I can't find Bourque on PPC's roster, looks like football was not for him.

There have been only like 3 recruits I have ever told people to be worried about.... Bourque was one of them. Most of the ones I get worried about are ones where a family members are too publicly involved.

I mean, I even knew J. Hill was going to bring baggage but I still though he was a get.... Bourque was always a worry. Ole well, at least UT didn't waste more than a few days on him.

Both the Jalen's are or are losing their spots to the two freshman. White (Clailborne's cousin and looks just like him on the field) who is basically taken the spot from Collins.... Robinson was late to campus because of clearance issues has really only been with the team like 8 weeks but he does work out with Patrick Peterson.

I would not be surprised by both Jalen's being 3rd string by the end of next year. LSU can't keep Robinson off the field for long.... not too many 6'4 CB with sub 4.5 speed walking around.

My guess... White/Robinson and Mills at nickel by the end of the year.

Patrick Peterson is borderline LB material (huge CB) and this kid is a true freshman coming in at CB.

I dont think we really have a shot either, I'm kinda just wishful thinking. Plus I think Wharton goes after every prospect in the country.

I actually think we have a shot and the odds have increased since the summer. Jackson was here with his dad for an unofficial over the summer. Now he's coming back for an OV against Auburn? You can't say the kid ain't intrigued by Tennessee. Same kinds of junk came up about Garrett now guys on TOS are saying we may have overtaken LSU. I guess people won't believe it can happen til it does but Butch is on fire recruiting it's no coincidence.

would be huge if we could beat lsu with adoree there on a OV our cb's would have to play lights out to pull out the win too the way mett's slingin it this yr
