He's not going to leave as a Vol he isn't singing until singing day from what I heard.

I bet on signing day if Jackson wants to be a Vol he will be! I think it will work itself out. GO BIG ORANGE!!!

No way we don't take kids of this skill level if they want to come. Butch will work out the numbers however he had to but no way he isn't a take.

If this kid calls Butch the night before signing day and says he wants in, Butch will find a way to get him in. You don't turn away players of this caliber.

I agree the kid is a take today. Come Feb 1st when the class has been full for months, I for one hope CBJ does not drop a long time commitment for a kid who wanted to play the recruiting game.

If Dews has been told straight up his scholarship would hinge on numbers, then I would be fine with taking Jackson in his place. Other than that, I would tell Jackson he has a spot, until we get to 30. I would NOT tell any DT's no over the next month or so trying to keep a spot for Jackson.

Agree. I can't see anyway that Butch doesn't make a spot for him if he wants to commit here. There is no way Butch is going to pass on a top 10 player and one of the best DB prospects in awhile.

I guess if he is that good we could always take him and just take the 3 scholarship penalty toward the 2015 class for over signing.

The only two even semi worth holding a spot for is Jackson and Hendrix. And I really believe Hendrix might be a silent reserved for signing day.
