I would rather see this guy stay on the left coast than play in Florida.

Maybe we can get Franklin to negatively recruit Florida for us since he has such a good track record why convincing DBs to stay out of the SEC (/sarcasm)

Any idea what day he is coming to Gainesville? If he is camping I can make sure he knows VolNation is every where.

I don't think he has OFFICIALLY set any dates, but IIRC he has mentioned the July 21st weekend a few times for Tennessee. He probably will be making confirmation around the time of The Opening for his visits, so keep an eye out and prepare to take off work lol

If Butch is pullin out all the stops for thiskids visit, the least we can do is offer the same recruiting dedication for him, regardless where we think he'll be. He's a top 5 player, at a position where we have few top players, that has shown genuine interest in a respectful manner. We should recruit him, as a fan base, as such.

Wasn't really pointing it towards you, just feel that's why our fan base in general isn't recruiting him as hard. Was really dissapointed when someone posted FL led and then after two more posts his tgread dissapeared for a week. Should be all over this guy's twitter after the comments he put ot at the Nike camp.

“For LSU, it’s the defensive back university basically and they’re No. 2 in the nation in track so they’re going to compete as well.

“As far as UCLA and USC, they’re right here. I can visit anytime I want so I’ve built that relationship with them so that’s nice.”

Currently Jackson is ranked as the No. 3 cornerback in the country and the No. 17 prospect in the nation regardless of position by 247Sports.

Nothing in that article says usc will not have a very good shot of landing Jackson. It would be great if he chose the Vols(which was not even mentioned in the article), but I don't think we stand near the chance as some of our fans want to believe.

He is coming halfway across the country to visit us and we shouldn't even be on his radar. He deserves priority until we are no longer in his list of schools. Or we could debate which of the other schools obviously are going to land him because he wore their gloves a while back. That makes sense, too *sarcasm*
