huge advantage that we will be getting him here on an unofficial this summer....will be hard for him to travel until the end of his hs football season

He was really good in person this weekend. He actually split time at reciever and corner and was really, really good at both. He accelerates as quickly as I've seen anyone in a while.

He will be at The Opening, so when he sees Dillon pick us on national televisio, then I think he will be very interested even more. Having Dillon Btes, Kevin Mouhon, Chris Weatherd, and possibly Clifton Garret at LB. And having TKjr, D'Andre Payne already commited as DB's, I think he will relize this defence can and WILL be the best.

I didn't even think about that. Cards may align for us, especially with our commitments showing out at camps. Daniel Helm showing out at the Challenge, including beating Jackson on some matchups, really helps us. Bet Payne was recruiting him hard everytime the DBs were together. Add the July unofficial AND that he stated he definitely wants to come on an official on gameday, it's not like we aren't getting all the chances in the world to land him.

That's where I really think twitter is influencing our recruits. A lot of people were tweeting that article at him and I really believe he saw it and checked it out.

Farrell says the buzz is all Florida and he thinks they are far and away the team to beat after talking to Jackson and the recruits there.

I'd feel better if our track program was world class..but all the research and some of the posters mentioned how it's fallen off...that hurts us with guys like Jackson. What the heck has gone so wrong with track at UT?

Interesting comments by Paul in a thread on VQ about Jackson committing soon after his summer visits.

I've been hearing more of the Florida leads rumors. He's supposed to visit Tennessee and Florida later this summer in what will be critical visits. He's certainly interested in Tennessee and Florida. Haven't heard that specifically. Just heard he's excited to see Tennessee and his other summer visits to SEC country, including Florida, and they will go a long ways to determining if he'll stay out west or make his way to this part of the country.

We need our commits here that weekend and force him to UT. This weekend will be HUGE for us. If we snaag him , I swear it will be AN AMAZING class. This kid is very special. People are wondering how we still stay alive with this guy and if you think about it, it's an easy answer.....UHHHM maybe cause we are the one and only UT and there's no place like KnoxVegas......Lets go get him bUTch
