'13 VA RB Derrick Green (Michigan commit)

That hole was huge and Bama defense wasn't extremely fast either. Don't know why people think that defense can run like say a Florida or Florida State unit.

I know I was sitting in section M that game I could've ran for that score. I was just giving credit to TP cause I loved him as a tailback and a person a class act to play are hard as he did given circumstances he was in

Speed is overrated in the tb position. Neal is, maybe, the fastest rb in the sec and broke off zero long runs.

Speed is never overrated. :) The way they use it is the key. If Neal would blast through a hole maybe we would see some big runs. I'm convinced a back like Andre Ellington would've went crazy in our offense. Kid would've had around 1500 yards rushing. Neal runs like a WR at RB. If you noticed CP broke more tackles at RB than Neal. I watched Tavon Austin break more tackles in one game than Neal did all year.

TP quit on the team in a game........And was a terrible RB at UT. I won't get into it on him but he's the worst RB I've ever watched start for UT.

Yea I bet he probably doesn't think that he was the worst RB at Tennessee in Carolina wearing his Panthers jersey getting paid to play on Sundays

I never ever want hear Poole mentioned in the same sentence as a prospective or current UT running back. If that happens said player should not be recruited.

This is an instance where playing for Tennessee really benefited a player. I'm not about to argue about Poole here. Makes no sense to discuss this with some fans.

Toney was the first commit Malzahn visited and that was big with Toney.

From AU Rivals - "I feel great. I never wavered anyway. I like the hire and I feel like we're on the way back to a national championship. I'm glad the search is over, it was stressful. But everything is cool with Auburn."

Everything is actually pretty hot down there. Wait till they are on a bowl ban for his entire collegiate career.

You guys are gonna kill me but if I had it my way, CBJ would've kept Sunseri on the staff as his LB coach. Obviously he can coach as an assistant as he coached players to a high level at Bama. JMO.

No. He may be a great LB coach, but he needs to do it elsewhere. He would never live down last year's mess here.

Doesn't matter.. He ran awful while at UT.. He had one good season that should've been a lot better..

Never seen a back go down that easy in my life.

Straight line speed isn't everything.

Arian Foster runs a 4.6, Alfred Morris runs a 4.67 and Doug Martin runs around a 4.57.

I think Derrick Green is faster in a straight line than those guys. With that said, a good RB should be shifty instead of straight line fast. 20' shuttle and 3-cone drill are better times to judge an RB by, IMO.

Per rivals Green gives Michigan a slight edge right now. Still open but glad that graham was retained. Luper told him he would keep recruiting him wherever he lands a job.

The video he doesn't seem convincing about Michigan at all. D.Green seemed extremely open about schools. He is there for the taking.. go get'em Butch, Tee, and Graham.
