'13 VA RB Derrick Green (Michigan commit)

He looked quick when he first got here. I think when Bryce left , they decided he needed weight to play in the SEC and thought he could be the guy to step up. After that , all his quickness was gone. I really don't think Brown or Oku were rated correctly. Neither one impressed me. Bryce was soft and Oku got slow. Neither one were that great.

Yeah - Brown's so soft that he is now #2 RB on the depth chart for the Philadelphia Eagles. Oku is doing alright at Arky State. What is it with you guys - is there some reason y'all feel like you have to trash anyone that leaves the program? They didn't just fail us - we failed them as well. Wish 'em luck and let 'em go. :salute:

VN doesn't support that :)

I'm not trashing them. I am talking about their time here. Bryce was always complaining about being hurt and had no desire to play college ball and he was soft. Oku put on too much weight and lost what speed he had. They are facts. I have seen Bryce playing for the Eagles. He is also second string because of an injury. Not taking anything away from him , but you can't tell much with the amount of carries he gets. He got 4 last week. It's like he was here. He shows flashes at times , then he looks like the old Bryce. I think he has all the talent in the World , he just doesn't seem to know how to use it. I hope he can play to his potential. Just because I think they were rated wrong in high school doesn't mean I don't wish them well.

If you go to his twitter account, and trust me I take it with a grain of salt, within the last 2 weeks you will see who he has "followed"

This isn't a done deal to UT

He recently followed Michigan related people because that's his next trip. He's already followed Tennessee related people.

Green visited there this summer and Michigan really put the heat on him to commit, but he refused. Mich was most likely his clear leader at that time before Auburn and Tennessee got heavily into the mix. Tennessee helped itself immensely during UT-UF game weekend.

Thanks for the info. We might have lost the game, but that atmosphere was unparalleled. I'm glad I was a part of it.

We still playing that moral victory game?

Yes, because it was a victory in recruiting.. We had more positive recruit feedback after that game than any other the last cpl seasons... The crowd was crazy... it was better than its been n a looong time..and the team showed they could play right with any team in the country.. So yes, after being where we've been the last 5 yrs, it's a victory in some aspects.
