'13 VA RB Derrick Green (Michigan commit)

Sarcasm, BB, or did you just misread my original post? DG current rating his higher than that of both T. Henry and J. Lewis as HS Sr's.

Remember it was Jasper Sanks who was considered THE RB in the state of GA and one of the best in the country coming out of HS. UGA went w/ Sanks who "tanked"---pun intended---while Lewis sought AND got his redemption/revenge.

Sarcasm..... :)

We can only hope he's as good as those two backs that were mentioned.

Wasn't going to say anything but Bama is giving up the edge like crazy this year.

SN: Big boy Pagan looks good back off the injury.

I wouldnt go that far as saying they are just giving up the edges like crazy. Its just not like last year. Not too many defenses can live up to the 2011 defense standards so im just nitpicking. They are still top 5 against the run and only giving 2 yards per carry.

Yeah Pagan does look good out there. He will probably start next year.

BTW, Green's official visit to Michigan is scheduled for October 19. Below is what Rivals said 09/23/2012 in recruiting report.

Mike Farrell, National: "Right now it appears to be Auburn and Michigan for Derrick Green but Tennessee jumped way into the mix this weekend. "

BTW, SCtiger, our rivals mods on VQ believe UT leads for Green. Hubbs (one of the best in the business) has said for months now that it was a UT/Michigan battle and after the UF game he now says UT leads. Please feel free to share that on your boards.

I just can't see him going to Michigan.

Again, I don't disagree with that. Your point is similar to what I said in my first post about Green. Some respected AU folks in Tennessee have indicated just what you said. Only passing on another national recruiting "experts" perspective. I personally think Farrell is an asshat

UT made huge progress after the uf game... The recruits there all said they've never seen a crowd and fanbase so big and electric.. That game helped us big time with so many recruits.

Most AU fans like UT because their coach got Bama in trouble, lets be real. Yall think AU was happy when UT was plucking good recruits out of the state of AL years back? If UT starts winning again, AU will hate them as well because they will consider them a threat in the SEC.

Wasnt just our coach. Your beloved Saint Nick was involved with that as well. Just Sayn..

The RB's saw an O-Line in the georgia game that can help them out. I think we'll only lose one Lineman.

This might not be legit.....but a friend of mine at Ensworth told me Corn Elder said Green was leaning pretty heavy toward UT..... for what it is worth??????? Elder likes Ga Tech.
