Actually he did leave us in a better situation, we had been to a bowl game and Kiffin was and is a good recruiter. Completely different situation. Kiffin never lost to Kensucky or Vandy. Actually played UF and Bama close and we still had a little more hope. Dooley recruited some talent here, he did ok in that department not great. But 10-14 in the last two years doesn't help.

Kiffin/Dooley mojo has to be erased with some positive momentum. 2013 will be better, and 2014 class will be the bomb.

didnt BJ say there is going to be a lot of surprises come NSD ? I think he meant to say we will be surprised if we get a full class come NSD.

Maybe SHould have gotten a big name for DC Jancek just cant pull em down like say randy shannon??? Being loyaly doesnt do anything for u in the SEC putting winners around you does bet most of these kids have never heard of jancek ....Im a posivol always have been love the work they have done but we dont have any closers

I'm telling you, the surprise on NSD is how many tables our hat will be on. If you look real close though, they will all still have the tags on them.

And yet people can't understand why I'm so negative when it comes to the Vols, even though I genuinely love them. We're trapped in a hole we can't climb out of. It's not all negative. Occasionally we get a great player like an Eric Berry, who is really fun to watch. However, they are too few and far between to get us out of the hole in the relentless SEC.

We'll have two great LB's in Maggitt and A.J Johnson and we'll have Randolph and McNiel. I think we'll be better off than some think.

Hopefully add Bell to that mix.

If CBJ doesn't have a stellar recruiting class this year, he better have a lot of luck next year and a better game plan than the last 3 years. If not then we are in for a long year.

Ole miss? No good recruiters and closers get the top flight athletes I am originally from Arkansas Hugh Freeze is a very very good recruiter , Gus Malzahn is a legend where im from Fantastic recruiter
