That family has publicly bashed sal. I don't care if he's his position coach or not, they'll be spending a lot of time around each other with both being on the d side.

I think EJ is hoping UT blows him away because he doesn't wanna be around sal with the bad blood.. He's looking for another comparable option.

I'll actually be very surprised if Levenberry isn't a Vol, which is weird to say at this point.

I think EJL will be a Vol for sure. He really liked TN at first, but didn't like the Sal hire. Sal and him didn't hit it off, and he lost interest in TN, and in turn committed to FSU. FSU hires Sal, and it does not sit well with EJL and family, so he is "shopping". He won't stay at FSU, and he had real interest in TN at the first of his recruitment, so I think he is ours to lose, and after getting North last night, it is obvious that losing is not an option for this staff.

The effectiveness of a real excuse is NEVER tethered to whether it is true or not. It is only dependent on the conviction and appearance of sincerity of the person giving it. In fact, one of the ways you can usually tell an "excuse" from a "reason" is that excuses tend to have some element of untruthfulness.

I think the rock should be painted for this kid. He's a freaking stud at a huge position of need & he's liked UT for a long time. Let's show this guy some love!

Sal killed us but Dooley buried us 15 feet deep. A blind man should have seen that we were in zero shape to run a complicated 3-4 scheme with 5-6 LB. The 3-4 is a brilliant scheme. Bama runs it and the Niners and Ravens both run it. Great teams win with this defensive scheme but the key to it is the players. Maggit is a JACK LB not Smith but the lack of depth forced us to use Smith. We also have no cover LBs other then Sapp who has very limited playing experience. You also have to be able to man up corner wise which we can not do. Simply put, are players aren't equipped to run a 3-4 scheme. We lack the speed at DB and we lack good LB depth to fully utilize all the options in a 3-4 scheme.
