You are one big pessimist, podna.

Having said that, consider:

-"Experts" say Derrick Green is going to UM.
-North, Bellamy, Sheldon and Ford have their final OVs at their home state schools.
-Lawson's final visit is at the school he has been committed to for months.
-Skipper is visiting coaches who got his commitment at Arkansas.
-It is reported that we have only 5 OVs remaining after this week.

I am not in any way as pessimistic as you are, but we do have some reasons for concern. I am just glad this staff is going after good players, even if they miss on them this year.

I can accept that. Most on felt I was being a pessimist when I said we should hire Butch Jones for 2.5 million a year because he was a proven winner. Some like to shoot for the stars. That ok with me. I tend to stay a bit more grounded. :hi:

One question on this kid...if he shows up next week then can we presume that he's cooled on FSU and really exploring options? If he was still with the Noles seems to me he would have just reaffirmed his commitment and been done with it...

I agree - Levenberry, Bell, Lawson, Bellamy and/or Miller would be a strong finish on D and would greatly improve Jones' chances to turn it around. Add in a good haul of O-lineman, North, a good RB like Ford, and the Ohio kicker with the other commits and I would say he and the staff have done as well as anybody could have ever expected.

If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry christmas.......that being said, landing Levenberry would give a vibe and help round out this class.

I have decided not to get excited about anyone til that fax comes in!
This is my first year following recruiting on VN....I'm a nervous wreck. My brain tells me not to log back on til the 7th....but my orange blood won't let me stop looking every 2 freakin minutes!!!!! Stay Orange My Friends. ..
