Says Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss are the teams recruiting him to play both ways (FB and BB), and along with those three and Nebraska are recruiting him the hardest. He has no favorites and is not close to a decision. He does not know what he wants to do (in terms of playing football, basketball, or both in college). UT is not mentioned at all in the article.
5. ATH Cornelius Elder Nashville (Tenn.), Ensworth, 5/11, 170: Elder is a phenomenal athlete who does it all. Last season, he rushed for 2,100 yards while compiling nearly 3,000 total all-purpose yards. As a defensive back, he also had five interceptions. In addition to his football skills, Elder is also a talented basketball player who opted to play hoops during the summer rather than work the football camp circuit. The four-star athlete is currently uncommitted, but drawing interest from Nebraska, Ohio State and Tennessee. Ensworth's most interesting early season game comes in week two against Lexington (Ky.) Catholic.
Like this kid a lot. Wish we had went after him as a slot WR for us. Could have a Tavon Austin type of career.
I worked for css tonight to put the game on tv. He looked extremely thin for a running back. Are most schools going after him for that or db?
