'13 TN RB Cornelius Elder

Yeah I was sure that D1 has the best "conditions" possible for running a 40 so Im not sure what the 24/7 guy was thinking?

Nasty conditions? I stood right beside Corn when he ran. It was the best surface and conditions he could've asked to run on.

Correct. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the surface.

Were you standing at the start of the 40 or at the end where they were timing?

I was standing at the end right behind where DeVinner was sitting in the chair.

Like i said in a earlier post, why are people trying to make him something he is not. Thats bull.... that other kids are out here busting there tail to try to get exposure and get to the next level and other kids people wont to give them everything. That makes me sick.

Who is doing this again? Jay posted what was tweeted by someone covering the event. Other than that, nothing.

I honestly get the feeling from that video that we might not be recruiting him that hard, just IMO. Hopefully thats not true.

Vanderbilt recruiting him the hardest. Will start to narrow it down sometime in the summer.

Not saying Corn is, but it kills me when some of these kids claim Vanderbilt as "up and coming"..... That's the silliest thing i've ever heard. Up and coming by our standards, and other bigtime programs means - On the way to winning SEC championships and competing for National Championships. Thats what up and coming should mean...

"Up and Coming" from Vanderbilt's point of view, would be making the toilet bowl, almost having a .500 season. and NOT finishing in the bottom 2 in the SEC..

Yeah.... keep selling these kids on the how up and coming you are..

It's been about 3 weeks since an update with Corn. I haven't seen anything from Rivals. For a top in-state recruit, I figured there might be some information on him since early this month. Anyone have anything from Scout, 24/7, etc? Corn should be an emphasis for the UT staff.
