'13 TN RB Cornelius Elder

Corn will play BB at the next level not football.

If he is smart, he will play football. I think he has very little chance making it to NBA at his size. Much better chance of being a corner or receiver at NFL level. He can put on a little weight to help NFL chances but he can't control his height. He is what he is.

That guy is a bit crazy man. Pretty sure he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Four-star Corn Elder just ran a 4.5 hand-timed on a horrendous surface here in Nashville.

thats from JC Shurburtt, the 24/7 guy who was there covering the event.

Must be outside. I dont know.

I know FOR A FACT that the indoor surface at D1 is NFL-top notch. It has to be since all the NFL players that workout there.

Nasty conditions? I stood right beside Corn when he ran. It was the best surface and conditions he could've asked to run on.

Regardless of the conditions, a legit 4.5 forty is moving. I'd like to see Corn running the ball for UT in the future.

I see everybody is making excuses that corn didn't run faster than a 4.5 today. There was nothing wrong with the field because some other guy ran a 4.38 on the same field. I know he is a good player and all but don't make him out to be the best thing in a football uniform. He ran a 4.5 and it is what it is,just remember that there is always going to be somebody faster, stronger and bigger. So stop making excuses for him not doing better than that because 4.5 is great speed. My Gosh!

Triante Wells (sp?) Ran the 4.38 and won camp MVP. Wells also participated in the Army combine and ran a 4.5 laser

Not a single excuse was made by any posters on here.

The event was held inside D1 last year, and there isn't a field outside D1, so this is kinda hilarious... Schurburtt trying to spin his 4.5 time?
