Now I tried to make that real clear. I don't mind running backs who are 5'9", 5'10" or 5'11'. It can be an advantage. But you can't be that short AND be slightly built..only weigh 160 or 170 pounds. That will not work for long. It's like that little walk-on guy from Alcoa that we have playing right now. He is just too small and light. If one of the big Bama or LSU linebackers got squared up on him, they would knock him into next week.
If Corn can carry 190 pounds or so, he might have a chance. I like him! He is exciting.
their are exceptions though. charlie garner, warrick dunn, darren sproles, noel devine and the kid at WV before him(can't think of his name right now). if you have enough speed and elusiveness you can be very dangerous and weigh around 180lbs
