Even if there isn't any news, I think this guy is high priority guy with the VOLs lack of depth at TE. He is a good athlete and he would be able to push for PT as soon as he get's to campus. He is also the only TE in the top 30 of that pos. not committed.

Good get, and someone that would have been nice to have, needing a TE. Hope he doesn't mind losing to Tennessee for 4 years. Best of luck to him. Kid can be good.

Vandy is doing a good job picking out the average talents in Memphis like Weaver, Perry, and Rayford. Those kids are raw but could turn into solid contributors.

This kid has a strong opportunity to be successful. Good pickup for them.

If we get Wilson and Sandland, I'll be extremely happy with our TE haul and forget about not getting this cat

I think this kid was prob down our board a little.

But even so I wish I could just be a fly on the wall and hear what and how Franklin sells vandy.

This guy didn't have a natural position. Like UTC said, he's a really raw guy with some good potential. Higher risk, too.

I think that will be a good fit for him. I always felt he projected better on the Dline than at TE. Good pickup for Vandy. They are definitely recruiting at a level they never have before.

I completely agree, its a huge loss that we couldn't snag these top prospects. M.Weaver was a must get with our lack of depth at TE.
C.Morris wasn't a major need, but we should lock up instate top 150 prospects. He is a better take than B. Kendrick and D.Skipper.IMO

Its huge in terms of adding depth when our #1 TE is graduating and we will only have 2 TE's on scholly next fall with none committed right now. There aren't many other TE's in the pond! Every TE in the rivals top 35 is committed. The VOLS will have to turn to JUCO, which we are doing.

It throws a wrench in Chaney's plans because he likes those 2 TE sets.
