Now I'm no star gasser but there's a drop off of talent here. I don't care what people say, but for the most part you can judge talent by the offers the player receives. You take on a guy who's best offer is Southern Alabama then I hope as a coach you truly know what you are doing.

Crowded, Posey, Kerbyson, and Sanders are all very good players. Players like James as Tiny don't come along often.

Well not that it matters but Sanders is a 4* and Weisman is a 3*

Met Bob Young once at a powerlifting meet in Memphis. Watching him getting out of a Triumph was a hoot.
Terry Todd the strenght coach at Auburn was with him they made a pair.

Whatever site rates the kid the highest is the best one at that particular moment. If 247 says he's a 4*, go with that. If ESPN says he is a 3*, screw em. They hate us anyways. If the 4 sites say a given player is a 3*, 3*, 4*, 4*?? 2 4's= 4.5* in the fans minds.

I couldn't tell what you were saying as your grammar was poor. I'm guessing you think I care about stars, or for that matter any of us. Most of us don't. If the guys produce we will all be happy in the end, but obviously we want 5* guys like Bell and Lawson more than 3* guys. That's not star gazing as much as it is watching film and knowing these guys are ballers IMO.

No what I am is who gives a sheet on how dam+ stars these so called recruiting experts put on a player. Like I have stated before college football is won by more 2 and 3 STARS than a team full of 5 stars. If a kid can play and the team gets back to 8 or 9 wins the star crap and recruiting ranks means squat.

Heard this a.m. That Coach Urbie (OSU) and Coach Brady (MEECHIGAN U) were zeroing in on this kid and calling daily. So I believe Coach Butch got a good one. The kid has great footwork and solid frame to put on needed weight.

Colerain has been a big time public school program in the Cincy area. Consider it a very good get to land one of their top OL. Look forward to watching this youngster develop as a Vol.
