when asked about his visit to Tennessee...“That was definitely, without a doubt, the best visit I had out of most of the schools I’ve been to, besides Rutgers,” Miller said. “When I went down, they made me a priority. I was greeted with people when I went down there. I had a name tag ready, and one for my brother, my mother, my father, everybody. We got to see not only the practice and the meetings, but we got to see the campus."
“They were the epitome of southern hospitality,” he said. “At the end of the day, they really made a good impression. Tennessee was just something different”

Another thing Miller likes about Tennessee is a need to sign offensive linemen since the Vols didn’t sign an offensive lineman in the 2012 class.

“That doesn’t hurt anything, having an opportunity to play from the beginning,” said Miller, who holds a Tennessee offer.

"Tennessee is going to end up in my top five," Miller said. "I've been saying that Rutgers and Tennessee are my two favorites. They made a really good impression on me and they had good hospitality with their coaches. I just enjoyed the trip down to Knoxville."

"I like that coach Pittman was melo guy and wasn't a big yeller," Miller said. "I appreciated that. The entire staff was really cool. Coach Pittman has told me that he'd like to see me play inside at guard or center. He is a guy that if you do well then he'll give you a pat on the back and if you don't then he'll get on you. I like his view on things."

"I'm looking at a place where I can relate to the players and coaches at the school," Miller said. "The players are really important to me. I've spent a lot of time with the players at Tennessee. The campus and everything else factors in. That's what I'm going to base my decision on."

Won't decide until NSD.

Scout recently bumped him to 4*.
PT and the need to sign 4-6 O-Linemen, there's a plethora of talent---Crowder, DeVine, Gray, Hall, Johnson, Miller, and Morris for example---that have Tennessee in their Top 3-5.

In an interview today with ESPN's Jared Shanker Miller said Rutger's and Tennessee are still his leaders. In addition to Tennessee, UConn, Miami, and USC---one, if not two of three three---will get OV. Miller stated that he has a good relationship with CJP (recruiter) and CSP (position coach) and likes the idea of playing in the SEC.

O-Linemen signed...
2011 = 5
2012 = 0
2013 - I think we take 4-5

Current O-Line commits:
Sanders
Kendrick
Skipper

Strong Prospects:
R. Koehler (CSP)
D. Miller (CJP)

So you think we take Miller and Kohler? Interesting. I don't disagree with that decision if the coaches choose to go that route.

We've actually got room to take him.

Really hope you are right. Heard we are done with 4 OL - but that was a while ago. Think if we were taking 5 Miller may have already been committed.
Seems like he is holding off pulling the trigger for Rutgers right now in case Vols change their mind & decide to take another OL at some point. Hope I am wrong.
