we are no longer in his top 3

Good to hear from you, Jay. How's Tampa? Heard Parts of southern FL received heavy rain, 13" or more.

Funny game...recruiting. Just yesterday in an article from ESPN.com Jared Shanker...
"According to the 4* guard Tennessee is still very much in it...the No. 13 player in New Jersey is flirting most with North Carolina, Tennessee and especially Rutgers with the season and official visits on the horizon. It is likely all three will get an official visit, even North Carolina, which just recently entered the fold but received an unofficial from Miller the weekend of Aug. 10."

Yesterday's Top 3
Rutgers
Tennessee
UNC

Today's Top 3
Rutgers
UCONN
UNC

Tomorrow's Top 3
Rutgers

?

I wonder if he still takes his OV Sept 15

Regardless, in the end Rutgers will be hard to beat. They have been very consistent in their pursuit and emphasized how important DM is to their 2013 Class and program. Not to mention that Rutgers is just minutes from his HS.

Tough crowd.

As of right now going by Rivals:

Skipper #69 OT 5.6 3 star
Kendrick #45 OG 5.5 3 star
Sanders #24 OT 5.8 4 star
Koehler #6 OG 5.9 4 star - Rivals had him ranked as the #1 OG back around mid March.

Done at 4. Hope Vols get an under the radar type OL class like this every year. :)

That is... ominous...

Reminds me of the supercells last year when the tornadoes hit Bradley County... Only that's obviously much bigger.

I hear ya on that one. I was walking around on Lee campus when I saw the clouds and told my gf at the time that we needed to get inside quick. That was some freaky stuff that followed...

Yeah, that wasn't out best day. Glad the community is starting to recover, though.

Yeah, it took a nice punch. We were blessed not to get hit too. A friend of mine took a pic of some clouds that looked like they were trying to form a tornado. Speaking of recovering, I was down there a few months ago and there a lot of new restaurants there that weren't there a year ago. It's growing nicely.

So does anyone believe if this kid wanted to commit that we would take him?

Patience is a virtue for Dorian Miller - ESPN

just saw this article, and it was mentioned earlier in the thread

I talked to a few CAK kids who played ball, they said Kendrick isn't very athletic and he has a very long way to go before he is ready for the SEC. They also said J.Smith is the real deal.

Has anyone seen or heard anything on Dan Skipper?

I think D.Miller would be a great pick up. I still wish we could have locked C.Morris down.

How is everyone feeling about the OL haul?

You know we didn't make his top teams right?

I'm guessing Rutgers, but this is from a local article this week.

"His short list includes, but is not limited to, North Carolina, Tennessee, Rutgers, Michigan State and Connecticut."

Edit: Saw this in a different article from 8/16, last line is pretty interesting, I would imagine we could be grouped in that list with the way our OL recruiting has gone this year.

Miller will soon declare a top five and, as of now, Rutgers, UConn and North Carolina are three of those five schools with the other two still undecided.

"I'll probably name those five a month from now and those are the schools I'll take my official visits to," Miller said.

"The plan is to wait until signing day but I feel like I'm being penalized by some schools for taking a long time. It seems like the new norm is for kids to commit real early."

SN he did have 58 tackles on the DL last year playing both ways
