'13 JUCO DT Toby Johnson

I would rather see Dooley get good high school de lineman. But so far he has not landed the really talented high school dt and out of necessity he has hit the juco ranks where they are ahead of most high school de linemen in the weight room. When the VOLS have a good winning season in 2012 more high school dt talent will come to UT.AND Dooley will not have to go to the juco ranks as much.Maby we can land Latham and another highly rated de linemen or two and then just an occasional juco guy or two unless they are highly recruited juco,s .it takes winning and this year should be the year the VOLS start winning.there are so many great players interested in the VOLS but are waiting to see how the season goes.If the vols get 9 wins not counting the bowl game they will probaly have to pass on some 4stars for you gazers.vonn bell and alvin kamara are Vols if 9 wins happen and so are a few others.and with a great year and if several juniors do not turn pro the vols will have a high preseason rank in 2013 and thwy will have 15 to 20 commits in june .things are getting better on rocky top.

+1 :good!:

He just tweeted this..

"i'm not gonna even lie #USC just jumped right back in the hunt"

Scholarship reductions are really killing USC recruiting right now.

Haha! Yeah, if that's what being on probation is like, then give me some. In all honesty though, kids wanting to go to USC to play football makes sense to me. I can't really dispute it. Great program, great tradition, and a city that would appeal to almost any 17 and 18 year old. Places like Tuscaloosa and Auburn, AL, Norman, OK, South Bend, IN, Lincoln, NE, Happy Valley, PA, Clemson, SC, ummm...not so much.

Absolutely makes sense. They are the single only football traditional power in the Mountain & Pacific time zones. Sure a team here or there pops up, but that is about it. If you could move their tradition to the UCLA campus or vice versa, it would be the easily be the best job in the country - and it close to it right now.

With the right coach, USC is a great job.

If you can live with your eyes burning from the smog every day and multi-lane freeways that resemble parking lots 24/7.

Kid will be a vol...enjoying the game
To many variables pulling him to Knoxville
PT, former Juco DC, CP and other Juco teammates

Not to mention his Twitter pic is of him, CP and someone else (Bradley?) sitting together wearing UT hats/gear.
