'13 GA WR Ryan Jenkins (UT signee)

This is a win win deal it sounds. He is a damn good prospect as well as being very connected to 2 of our top targets. Darn great news!!

Hoping Ron notices my positive response here!!

Perfect fit he's uncoverable I watched him beat everybody in one on ones at VTO and at UGA. Everytime I see him he's putting on a show. Drew alot of double coverages this year that's why Printz utilized Willie Police more ( the other Lassiter receiver) Ryan and Alvin are best friends they talk all the time about going to the same college.

Alvin Kamara?

Wow! I'm impressed. Maybe this is the rolling stone that starts the avalanche? I was going to give CBJ a pass on this class, given he got such a late start and inherited such a bad incoming class. But CBJ really is making some moves here. ...boy if we could land Lawson and Kamara...

Ok, ok I'll stop, before I get carried away.

"I have great respect for Clemson but my heart is in Tennessee," Jenkins said. "I loved the visit there this past weekend and I just felt like it's where I need to be. I loved the coaching staff, the atmosphere. I have a great relationship with the staff there and I really like coach Jones."

Jenkins father, Lee was a standout for Tennessee in the early 80's. He's always been fond of Rocky Top and his memories that his father instilled early on are still strong today.

"It means a lot," Jenkins said. "He used to take me to games when I was little. One of my earliest memories, my dad got pics of me sitting on Jamal Lewis lap in the locker room. He used to take me up there on my birthdays as well."

Lee Jenkins has always been a proud parent, but today seemed just a little more special.

"It is a dream come true that one of my sons is going to wear the orange jersey and run through the T," Lee Jenkins said. "I never planned on it because my philosophy was I wanted him to go to the school that fit his needs best. I want a place that fit him from a character, academic and football standpoint. I feel like it was a win-win no matter what he had decided."
