The hardest part to accept is that you have a special talent that grew up a Vol fan. He has the chance to come in and be a football messiah from Day 1. Considering the mess we are in now, he would have already been a hero for our fanbase before he even took a step on the field. Knowing he could have gone elsewhere and passing that up for TN would have put him on a damn near mythic level here in TN.
Instead, he becomes just another cog in the wheel that OSU fans will cheer for, but forget after he moves on.
