The hardest part to accept is that you have a special talent that grew up a Vol fan. He has the chance to come in and be a football messiah from Day 1. Considering the mess we are in now, he would have already been a hero for our fanbase before he even took a step on the field. Knowing he could have gone elsewhere and passing that up for TN would have put him on a damn near mythic level here in TN.

Instead, he becomes just another cog in the wheel that OSU fans will cheer for, but forget after he moves on.

That's the difference between business vs. heart.

How about you just not worry about what's being said and let the people who are mad about it vent their frustration without being told what and what not to say. After a while we'll all feel better for doing so and then won't give 2 sh%*$ about Bell backstabing Volnation.

Hopefully he doesn't cause any disturbances the first time Vonn comes across any adversity In his college career

As far as I am concerned Von Bell has NEVER been a Tennessee fan or he would have signed with Tennessee. Blast me if you want , Don't give a damn !!!!!!

If it will make you feel better about yourself to bash some kid that you don't know, then by all means...go for it. I would just like to be a part of a fan base that is a little more level headed.

my question is does vonn bell's brother shake for him too? seriously if your a true vols fan you go with your school...he is not a vols fan point blank its not about champships its about the history and being part of a team to get to the promise land!!

The other thing I don't get, is why be mad at Vonn Bell when he never publically said Tennessee lead at any point? If I was a poster here I'd be more upset with the users Skeeter and bigALwilson, who've been claiming for days that "Vonn Bell is a VOL lock!", that they have "inside info," and Skeeter even said he knew by way of the AD's office that Vonn Bell had called and declared he was a VOL.

I'd be more upset about the people getting my hopes up necessarily, unless you're assuming they were telling the truth and Vonn changed his mind last minute (which I doubt). Vonn Bell never said anything publically about Tennessee leading or that he was a Tennessee lean, just that they were 1 of 3 teams he was picking between. It was those posters claiming inside info that got your hopes up imo, not so much an 18 year old kid who rarely does interviews lol.

Good luck finding that fan base with a stadium capacity of 40,000+

As ugly as it is... all fan bases do it. I would prefer the contrary but that's not the way it is.

Look at it this way...COACH JONES developed a relationship in the short amount of time he had and got 10 four star recruits. Just imagine what he is going to do next year!!!! GBO!!!!!!!
