'13 GA RB Peyton Barber

dont see them taking both. if folston commits ford to tennessee imo... my guess folston has told auburn he is coming and they want to keep folston quiet until ford signs on wednesday.....

Ford is a barn lock. Maybe Peyton falls into our laps?

I just don't see it. Barber has been an Ole Miss commitment for 18 months. They have recruited RB after RB to add to this class and Barber continues to UOV there all the time. I think he is content with fighting for PT at Ole Miss. JMO

Plus if he took the check, kinda hard to back out now.

"Barber visited here, but it's looking into Tennessee any further. He seems solid to Ole Miss. However everyone is waiting to see if he visits Auburn this weekend.

I think Graham focused a great deal in the fall on Green. Green told Graham on more than one occasion that he was going to be a Vol. But once things got cranked up in January Tennessee actively pursued alot of running backs."

Did we put too many eggs in Green's basket? It seems that we had a real shot at Turman and Folston at one point.

I'm just praying Alden Hill is better then expected

I thought about this too, but I was never that impressed with his highlights when he was being recruited. I always thought Cross was the better prospect.

Our RB recruiting has been one giant clusterf*** for the last 3 years. The number of running backs we have either failed to recruit or struck out on is mind boggling. Any half way decent running back could step in and start from day one at one of the premier programs in the entire country and still no takers. CJG is obviously a great recruiter since he is to some degree responsible for at least half of our commitments which makes this even more perplexing

When I lived in Ohio, Alden Hill school was couple hours from me, his high school played some good competition, and I remember being excited to see him coming here the year Aj and 2 Maggit came in. He is isn't a burner but he is a big RB. Has some power, inside 20 is a perfect example of something this kid could excel at. Not sayin he couldn't be every down back, but lacks a little speed. Great kid though, attitude and worth ethic. He could easily surprise us this year if he gets the chance.

Just needs to quit kissing girls, and he'll be fine.

Didn't Hill redshirt last year as a freshman? Guys are saying he's not an every down back and I don't understand why. We may very well have a really good back just waiting his turn to shine.
