It's interesting that as smart as he is, he's going to ASU. That is a joke of an educational institution.
Lovely, uh, scenery though.
I started working at ASU in 1990. ASU has become a lot different than the (academic) joke it may have been 25 years ago. Engineering college is very good. W.P. carey School of Business (my current employer) is a top 25 Business school with a top 5 Supply Chain Mgt program and recently a number 2 online MBA program. Also Cronkite School of Journalism is not too bad.
At ASU you can find a good academic program/challenge or you can find a "joke" of an education as well. When you have 70,000(?) students on 4 campuses - one can find about whatever one wants.
As far as the scenery....the palm trees and cacti; as well as the Frank Loyd Wright architecture are all very excellent. (that's what you were refering to, correct?)
As far as Dobbs - I feel like I win whether he stays at ASU or goes to the Vols. Win/win for me!
Players I work with at ASU like and have bought in to coach Graham. He may be the "Butch Jones" of the PAC-12 (with a year head start).
