Lol Bama will just fill his scholarship with some other 5 star recruit. I hope his commitment to Clemson sticks though. Simply so we don't have to face him.

Well, I guess he did real well at camp, because he did not even have offers from the smaller schools on his list . I understand he has only played a couple of years and I have said before in person evaluation by coaches means more than tape, just surprised by this one because it is not like a local player that they have been able to evaluate more that is all.

Congrats to Clemson! If he's not at UT I'm glad he's not in the SEC :)

I know most think Clemson cheats (and maybe they do) but the truth is they have some elite recruiters on staff, a very nice campus and scenery and just went to a BCS game. If they were in the SEC (instead of USCjr) they would have a top 10 class every year. Some kids like the laid back country atmosphere that they have. I've been to a few Clemson games (I have family that went there), it's a good time. I can definitely see the appeal if you're not set on playing in the SEC.

I hear you but we have yet to find a reason to doubt Dooley and co. as evaluators of talent. They know the process and they know physical gifts. I trust them until they give me a reason not to.

I do not believe in locks and one source today disagreed with it but what the others are saying tonite not worried at the moment.

And gratz to Clemson. Great pickup for them and Dabo continues to recruit well.

I believe UTs old dline coach is at Clemson, right? Or did he get canned with Steele? I like how Clemson poaches good players from other SEC teams, but this year id really like them to lay an egg. Not for RN, but it seems like they are favored by a lot of recruits that we need. Id love VT and clemson to stink it up and improve our chances with Dye, Fuller, Green, etc...

Don't know why I dislike dabo so much, but id really like to see him tank.

lot of times recruiting is finding out who really makes the choices and getting them in the bag. looks like clemson did that with the gf and he has said before that hed go where she went
