he has changed his tune about leaving the state. he had a great time during the visit and CTG and Rodney Garner did a terrific job with Adams. he said his plan is to commit on nsd. as the vol fans know he is visiting them this weekend and then bama the following weekend.

Beyond disruptive!! Look at his frame, too! He is 290-295 with very little if any fat. He is very mature physically for his age, and could add to that in a college S&C program. He would be like trying to move a brick wall. Kinda reminds me of Eddie Goldman from a physical standpoint from the 2012 class.

Kid is more than likely the #1 DT on alot of team's board, so it should be an interesting battle for him

Rivals100 DT Montravius Adams of Dooly County (Ga.) will be at Auburn's practice on Saturday. This is his 2nd trip to Auburn.

5-star DT Montravius Adams from Dooly County in Vienna, Ga., has already arrived in Auburn and will stay through tomorrow afternoon. This is Adams' second visit to Auburn.

“I got more time to talk with Coach Chizik,” Adams said. “He showed me how he wanted to use me in their defense. Kind of like how Nick Fairley played. They want to get me 1-on-1 with the guard and take it from there.”

Adams said it was exciting to be compared to Fairley, a former Auburn All-American defensive tackle who was a first round pick of the Detroit Lions in 2011.

“He’s kind of one of my favorite players,” Adams said.

Adams, from Dooly County in Vienna, Ga., visited Auburn for a second time this weekend after attending a Junior Day in January. He arrived Friday afternoon and stayed through Saturday afternoon.

“It went good. I liked everything,” he said. “The coaches are cool. I feel good there.”

Adams, 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, was able to watch Auburn’s second practice of the spring Saturday morning.

“I could see myself going there. I wanted to get out there and play but I’m still in high school,” he said. “I know I could come in and help.”
