It's a misunderstanding IMO, but I guarantee you BPV did not read my first posts on the subject. All of them were more concerned with Reuben and what happened than what could possibly help us with Carl.

How I feel in general. It's a crappy situation. It sucks badly. Did it happen? Yes. Could it help us? Maybe. Lets discuss the good that could happen. Carl might possibly be turned off by AU now? Yes. Is that good for us? Yes.

Is that our fanbase saying we enjoyed the racism? No.

It's not a southern thing. A black co-worker and I were discussing last week how hostile/defensive many white northerners are against blacks. You would hope with our day and age it wouldn't be such a big deal but it is.

And I am white.

I'm sorry? I wasn't telling you that you can't respond. I was just saying that even if we disagree, we should be more cordial. I have a history of being a bit abrasive on the internet, including on these boards. I wasn't (intending to be) moralizing.

The way Carl acts I could see him being one of the Defensive captains in the next couple years if he commits.

If the fight that happened at Auburn is true, then it should really help improve our chances with Lawson come Monday. I don't think him or his parents would approve that too much considering Lawson wants a family environment. Not saying Auburn doesn't have a chance, but my gut is telling me that he will be a VOL come Monday. :good!:

I would like to bring it back to reason.
Lawson is van amazing player and young man and will excell anywhere.
I just hope he chooses to do so in knoxville!

He arrived I think in the pm on Friday (5 or 6) so he can stay til that time on Sunday. I bet they leave at 3-4 just to get home somewhat early on a Sunday night. Little news from Uzzi, Hubbs, and PFort recently.
