My understanding is that it was a social visit to a family friend coaching there.

That friend was the DL coach when he committed to auburn and is now DL coach at Tech. He was a big reason he committed to barner to begin with.

IMO he hasn't completely made up his mind yet. There is still a chance he goes to UT, AU, or even GT now. He wouldn't decommit from a school if there was a chance he would again sign with them in a week. That's just not who this kid is. I believe Tennessee has placed themselves in as good as a position as anyone and after hearing that Tennessee "didn't need" to help themselves yesterday with the visit I believe he's going to be a Vol
