I thought he was going to call the coaches on Monday, and just send his LOI in on Wednesday from his home??? Maybe, just maybe, this is a good thing for the Vols. If you buy into the theory that CBJ is getting these guys to hold off until NSD, so that we create a massive buzz, then maybe CBJ and staff convinced Lawson yesterday on their visit to not only commit to UT, but to announce live on ESPNU on NSD!! Didn't CBJ and the defensive staff meet with Lawson and his parents yesterday? If so, does anyone find it coincidental that Lawson has decided to announce publicly on NSD now? Just thinking out loud.

I'm just confused to as why 5/7 Rivals recruiting analysts picked Carl to pick us, and we have a negative feel, whilst 4 picked Vonn Bell to pick us we feel as if we've locked it up... Can someone tell me?

As stated earlier, the obvious answer is to give some great PR to Auburn.

Either side could honestly say this is good for them, but I am still confused with the conflicting announcements.

Is it possible he is telling the coaches before hand but it isn't made public until then?

I follow him and this guy is a complete poodle. He does keep me up to date with info, but the sad part is that he presents the info most times as if he has first hand knowledge of stuff.

From Kevin Scarbinsky's (Birmingham News) article a couple of days ago: "ESPNU might complicate the Lawson family’s plans to go about the business of finalizing Carl Jr.’s college choice as quietly as possible. The Milton High School football web site notes that a number of the school’s players will make their pledges to Division I schools on Signing Day. There will be a ceremony at the school - the old-school way to do it - but the web site adds that “ESPNU will be there covering the story live” at 8 a.m. CT."

Just saw a post in the "Hot Recruiting News" thread that Lawson is now really listening to JawJaw Tech! Rumors are they are a major player now lol If this is true, he does know the campus IS Atlanta? Atlanta is the furthest thing from quiet! lol
