'13 GA DE Carl Lawson (Auburn commit)

I don't think it bothers him that much. A lot of people say Alpharetta is a lot like Knox.

Too much concrete, I read somewhere, which is true, UT needs more foliage. Knox is much bigger than Alpharetta, as far as 10+ story buildings go.

You think UT will improve that? Id have to agree with Lawson there.

If additional foliage would get Carl Lawson to commit I'll drive up there from Miami to plant some shrubbery myself!!!!!
Anyone else want to join me!
Heck I'd plant a whole d@mn garden in his honor!
Go VOLS- bring the big guy home!

New article on ESPN insider about Lawson and Jenkins if someone can post

From ESPN

"I do, but I just want him to go wherever he feels like he can ball and wherever he's happy," Jenkins said.

It's been impressive for Tennessee to get this far with Lawson after a coaching change of its own. While Jenkins certainly has some insight, he maintained he's doesn't know where his buddy will end up.

"I'm not sure," Jenkins said. "I'm hoping they will [get him]. But I have no idea."

Crazy to to think just how good we could potentially finish on defense. If someone would've told me when CBJ was hired that we could possibly finish with Bell, Lawson, Levenberry, Bellamy, Johnson I probably wouldn't believe it.

Obviously, if he does not go to UT, I would want him at tech. He would be something UT needs more right now to beat the bammers I hate. But, happy if tech iinstead of aubbie. Did not even think tech was a consideration but the DL coaching hire and dad playing there makes it a possibility I guess. But, I doubt it.

The ga tech news is bad news for those of us that thought he has already decided to be a vol.

The ga tech news is good news for those that think he is already a tiger.

The bottom line is it is nearly certain he still has no idea where he is going.

I will say this again. I won't be surprised if he doesn't sign anywhere next Wednesday.

He may just be visiting because of the DL coach from Auburn. Didn't his dad play there? Could be a courtesy visit, but your guess is as good as mine.

Yes it could be a courtesy visit. That's why I said nearly certain no decision has been made

This GA Tech thing might help us actually. That DL coach is going to say something bad about AU... i feel it... hes going to highlight the flaws of AU so he can try to drive him toward tech. And also if hes sour about leaving AU then he might spill some nasty stuff about them. Either way it helps us IMO
