Goes back to a conversation in which it was discussed that kids sometimes select a school for something other than what outsiders consider big selling points. Whatever it takes to get Lawson to come here. With Carr, Bell, and Levenberry looking good, Lawson could make this a huge defensive haul for us.

Carl said that " he get's a special feeling every time he visits AU". I am sure someone has pointed out how special he will feel when he is sitting in our video room watching and dissecting video getting live in-person advice from Peyton, and knowing that you just joined the brotherhood of VFL with your idol.

If not somebody tweet this to Lawson, or better yet; get Peyton to give him a call to tell him. Can somebody get this done, this is kid we have to have?

Mr Lawson would get a very special feeling doing the VolWalk through a crowd of 100+ thousand people screaming their heads off because he is a Volunteer.
Then he runs through the "Power T".....and the world explodes in Orange!!!

Dooley pulled Stone and Neal, but Kiffin layed all the groundwork for Hunter and Rogers. Both were going to come here with Kiffin more than likely.

Besides North and Green, UT had very very low chances of even getting most of these guys on campus.

Recruiting was going terrible when Jones was hired. Recruiting was going great when Dooley was hired. Kiffin had us in very good position with elite prospects.

Dooley did very well closing that first year, but it is completely different circumstances.

I love How random posters say 'I think Auburn leads' or 'UT leads' and says he will end up here or there. Truth is that Carl does not know where he is going to pick yet. He has a Tory difficult decision and is struggling to decide.

Come on now. Tony's tweet was clearly about Caleb Ezubeke (however you spell it) from Candy. That dude was running his mouth these last few days calling out UT... Plus Clowney said Tiny is the best tackle he played all season. There's really no bad blood there. It's all about the Candy DE

Peyton is truely one of our greatest advocates, but I'm pretty sure it would be a no no for him to contact recruits.

Lawson and Bell are both at the top of my wish list. Although both are great kids and incredible football players of their own merit, Together, along with the rest of the defense we are assembling, they would be magnificent.

Bell can make more plays because the QB is being rushed by Lawson.
Lawson gets more sacks because Bell is locking down the secondary.

I truly, truly feel like Lawson is one of those rare talents that you don't see in every recruiting class. There aren't 5 or 6 Lawson's out there. He is a Clowney type impact DE and those guys only come around every so often. So it isn't like if we miss on him we can just get another DE like him next year. (Carr is a beast too though)

We NEED CL and VB.

I see Carr as a true run Stopping DE. Hopefully Butch hits up the JUCO circuit for some DTs next recruiting cycle to let Carr and hopefully Lawson go nuts.
