Ok what i am hearing on Lawson is we are the leader and have been for awhile. We need to thank CBJ for this one. Green has and continue to keep it close. I do know this Green has told both parties what they want to hear. It is a toss up on him but people say it is 52/50 with Mi holding steady. But I would not be shocked if he chose TN tomorrow.

It sucks that there's so many wood popping false reporters that you can't take any good info and be encouraged.

Hell you can't even get excited when it comes straight from the horses mouth because even some of the recruits themselves get a kick out of setting em up and shooting em down.

Lawson Sr. was in Auburn on Wednesday, driving from Alpharetta, Ga. to Auburn by himself. The purpose, Lawson Sr. said, was to meet the Tigers' new strength and conditioning coach Ryan Russell and understand his philosophy. Lawson Sr. wanted to get the "vibe" of the coach that replaced Kevin Yoxall. That part of the program is important to Lawson, who benches over 400 pounds and squats over 500 pounds. Lawson Sr. called Russell, "very enthusiastic" and left impressed. Lawson Sr. also toured the campus.

It is not a bad thing. I would say the only reason they hold the slight edge from what I have been told is staff turnover. Like I said I would not be shocked if we land him tomorrow. Plus the fact that winning plays a part in it as well

They did a ESPNU promo setting up for the NSD telecast and one of the things was one guy asked Derek Dooley where he thought Carl Lawson would play his college ball? Dooley replied, "Tennessee".

Yeah, we are pretty much screwed.
