NC got North's last visit and Bellamy is still committed to FSU even though we have momentum.

We have a lot of ground to make up on UA for Bell..which I think is possible.

Barber sticking with Ole Miss and it's looking like Ford will end up at Auburn. If we miss on all of those guys this place might have THE worst meltdown to date.

We're far from out of the running with him, in fact our position is no weaker than it was last weekend. Our fan base is so snake bitten that unless we're showered with hints every 2 hours that we're getting our guy(s), we start going into defeatist mode. If Carl Sr. wasn't closely examining every aspect of both schools , he'd be a fool. Which he is not supposedly.

If we miss out on Bell,Lawson, Bellamy,Green,and North all in one shot, the sun will still rise and we'll still play Butch Ball. If he's worth a damn, we'll be good with what we still have. Next year's class will be the s*it if his infallible plan lives up.

Well I know everyone is hyping the mythical 2014...but Butch IMO has to snag SOME of those guys and continue to get this positive momentum going our way. If you think about it since his feet have pounded the pavement he's been slowly pulling the fanbase and alumni together. He's having a really good impact, and I just think we need to see a strong finish to NSD so fans have something to be excited about. We all know where this program can be...if we can win one or two more games from the previous season that will mean a lot...and considering what the last 4 or 5 years have been like here that to me would signal to a lot of big time recruits that this program is Back and we are relevant in this college football landscape---I just think we are on the upswing here and the dominoes are going to start to fall soon...IMO

Don't even act like it's not true. I said I think we'll land Bell and North. But there's a real possibility we don't land any of them..who, out of the ones I listed, can you say we 100% lead for? 0.

I'm not being negative..it's just the truth. I think if coach Jones would have been here a few more months in advance, we'd have most of them in the bag.

"because he went to TN by himself a few weeks ago...its called due dilligence. I would say there is a decent chance he wont go to AU with Carl next week."

We lead (from what I have read 100% on Lawson, and North IMO from what I have read). Sure things can, and will change, but I don't think they will. Jones can prove he can recruit if he can close with these. I won't judge him if he can't close with as little time as he had regardless.

I agree. I have a feeling the '14 clas will be super nice. He's already made huge strides with in-state coaches and prospects and also the former players/legacies..both of which will be vital for next years clas.

I was at Sportarama tonight as my son trains there. His training coach also trains Lawson along with Constatine. He stated he does not have interest in Ole Miss but Freeze did offer his head coach a job on the staff to lure him. We spoke for a while and the trainer said it is a toss up but if he were to guess, 60/40 AU.

I remember MzTerry talking about dropping in out of the blue on a visit to see what the staff is really like when they aren't expecting you there. Do they still treat you like family, or do you have to take a number and wait to be seen? I'm guessing this is another reason why Mr. Lawson has taken these mid-week visits out of the blue. Very smart!

Boner killer. Your reading way too much into Lawson and Bellamy being committed. Think Bellamy is a Vol, would trust Lawson's trainer over recruiting services, North and Green are definite possibilities and I'm not so sure Ala has the momentum with Bell. Actually quite the opposite. Hoping the true Vol fan in him comes out and the way Vol fans hate Ala. We arent missing on all of them. None are out of the realm of possibility.

makes sense he wouldn't go with Carl since he has been there before.
