I thought all coaches were supposed to be "tireless recruiters" by the nature of their job descriptions and compensation. If you are going to be "the best staff in America" you better be more than a tireless recruiter.
All the love for coaches doing a portion of their jobs they are supposed to do is sickening to me. These guys are getting paid big bucks and so far they are doing what they are supposed to do. If they nail down a top 15 or better class then they deserve some extra atta boys, but not until.

Head coaches only get one visit. It can be at school, for breakfast, lunch, or at home at night. It all counts as one visit and Jones has used his.
"Nobody here as any idea what his intentions are. He is nowhere close to being a Tiger as he is a Vol. sounds like things went well, just let it play out."

"It was great visit," Lawson said. "I learned how great their fans are and how big the city is. They have so much tradition there and a great history. You can just see it everywhere you look. It's a valuable program."
"I love all of their former players," Lawson said. "Sure I know who Reggie White is, but they have such a great history here. You can see it."
Lawson spent time with Tennessee head coach Butch Jones and the top Vol made it clear that Lawson is very important to his inaugural recruiting class.
"I get a good feeling with coach Jones," Lawson said. "He's a really good guy and he's won everywhere he's been. He's a cool guy and I feel like he relates well to the players."
