'13 GA DE Carl Lawson (Auburn commit)

Out of those 13, Ole Miss is predicted to land 4. Wow.

I think Ole Miss would be a great place to go to school, I know they don't have top notch facilities like most schools but it's a good school and even though they're terrible in football, the Ole Miss faithful love their football

Meh, I have been there for a game and wasn't that impressed. It is more about the party before and afterwards than the game itself. Maybe Freeze is changing the culture, but from my experience the campus is more impressive than anything dealing with football.

.... not sure I totally agree.
Lots of folks go to tailgate and never go to the game.
Football is secondary to trying to show off and get "in with the in crowd".
I PRAY that none of my kids have any interest in going to school there.

Ditto on the last part. My goal is to keep the existence of Mississippi a secret or at least spin it as a failed experiment by the US.

Exactly! Ive had some stellar times tailgating on the Grove, but after that, there's not much left other than Memphis. What the hell is Freeze putting in the water down there? Something stinks in Oxford...

HONOR THY VOLS...CHERISH THEM...

I disagree. Ole Miss is a good school and Oxford is a great town. The downside of Ole Miss is below average training facilities and nothing to do within 100 miles outside of Oxford.

Nothing to do in Oxford either, IMO. Frat parties are the best option. Beautiful campus though. Grisham made sure of that.

im probably late but gerry hamilton at 247 predicting lawson to UT

Carl Lawson, WDE, Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton

The prospect – No. 24 in the Top247

The scoop- While the 6-foot-2, 245-pound Lawson remains a “soft” commitment to Auburn, his recruitment is far from a certainty. Last weekend, the Atlanta area prospect made the short trip to Clemson, and will be at Tennessee this weekend. Following the trip to Tennessee will be official visits to North Carolina Jan. 25 and Auburn Feb. 1 before announcing a final decision on signing day. Another program that is still in contention is surging Ole Miss. Lawson’s recruitment has more questions than answers at this point with three visit weekends remaining. Prediction – Tennessee

Where will the available five-stars in 2013 land?

I thought someone (dad, Uzzi, someone) said that it would not go to signing day? Did I misremember?
