'13 GA DE Carl Lawson (Auburn commit)

I can't wait to see how many posts this thread gets in the next few weeks. Doubt it reaches Santos, Scroggins, or Bryce Brown level though. Those were truly epic threads.

Watching in the huddle tonight ... Simmons said it doesn't look like Lawson is gonna end up on the plains ... So logic means us right ?

Simmons usually knows his Georgia stuff I think. Hope he's right, because it sure does seem like this has been a two horse race..

Anyone who keeps saying the SEC is overrated even after every BCS Title win should be shown this and every BAMA Highlight play from the NT game on a loop till next football season!

That play doesnt mean the SEC isnt overrated it means Clowney is a beast as expected.

I live between atlanta and Chattanooga in calhoun and I can get to Knoxville in 2 hrs and 10 mins. That me doing 80-85 mph the whole way. If the wife's awake and b!'ching it takes 2hr 45 mins.

Ya'll need to man up and take your boys back out of her purse. Tell her if she wants to drive then drive, if not then sit there and shut up.

Where will the available five-stars in 2013 land?

Carl Lawson, WDE, Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton

The prospect – No. 24 in the Top247

The scoop- While the 6-foot-2, 245-pound Lawson remains a “soft” commitment to Auburn, his recruitment is far from a certainty. Last weekend, the Atlanta area prospect made the short trip to Clemson, and will be at Tennessee this weekend. Following the trip to Tennessee will be official visits to North Carolina Jan. 25 and Auburn Feb. 1 before announcing a final decision on signing day. Another program that is still in contention is surging Ole Miss. Lawson’s recruitment has more questions than answers at this point with three visit weekends remaining. Prediction – Tennessee
