'13 GA DE Carl Lawson (Auburn commit)

It is hard to follow your logic and way of thinking sometimes.

I am sure my logic is hard to follow at times but this one should be easy follow. According to Uzzi The kid likes Clemson better than us and that's the reason the visits changed. That's bad news. Not hard to follow.

Who said he liked them better? He just switched dates. Big deal. I would rather have the last visit date anyways

That is your logic. I think more people would disagree than agree. We want to follow Clemson as far as this visit goes.

Uzzi also said That he is really hard to pin down on where he really wants to go and is very hard to read. Also believe he said he was undecided. All of those things are good for us.

We may very well not get him, but we are still in this.....and that is good news.

"Carl does not claim a leader but really likes Clemson, likes the coaches, the town etc. What he does not like is the ACC and the fact he has to play a bunch of bad teams with no fans. That said, him pushing off the TN visit was not because of Jenkins but because Clemson is where he wanted to go this weekend to check them out further."

More people would think this is a good thing than bad thing???

Agreed but according to Uzzi he chose to go there over coming to us. That defines a clear pecking order

Sure, but a pecking order for committing or a pecking order for a fun-filled weekend?

We don't know.

Like Ron said earlier, this upcoming weekend is the Clemson equivalent to Florida's FNL's and UGA's dawg weekend.

As long as we still get a visit, we're in good shape. Is there cause for concern? Perhaps, but until this kid indicates a clear cut leader and/or commits, I'm not scared.

I think this may work in our favor. He was going to visit Clemson regardless. Would you rather have him after his visit to Clemson? The fact he switched for Clemson's big weekend is not a big deal IMO. This also makes his visit line up with our big weekend with his bud being here.

Y'all freak out over everything.

Let this one play out. If he doesn't come after the Clemson visit, obviously we won't be getting him.

Those big recruiting weekends are always fun for recruits. That's why so many attend.

Stop being rational. We will not tolerate that!

Bruin reminds me of the guy that constantly freaked out on this board about a year and a half ago. His name escapes me. Anybody remember him? Any help Ron? Anyone?

You would think that poster in the recruiting forum that has been on VN for any amount of tim should be used to the recruiting game. This stuff happens every year.

Say what you want and we all have an opinion. I like the fact that he will visit UT after he visits Clemson. That has to favor UT.

What does that have to do with Lawson?

Did you read what I quoted? It said Lawson keeps everything close to his chest and nobody really knows where he ultimately ends up playing. Peyton Manning was the same way when he was recruited. I was just meaning, if we are in the running, and recruits keep everything close to the chest, it worked out great for us with PM.
