Auburn knowing that there has been some change?

Lawson: Yeah, I've talked to Coach Malzahn, he's just told me how everything is going and, uh, what
he's looking forward to doing, just telling me the scheme and just being very informal about you know, what's going on and it's just really helped me a lot.

I hope he comes to UT, but I can't rely on vocalics and body language to tell me where he's going. Coaches needs to stay on this guy though. Still plenty of time before NSD.

I tend to agree. Right now his situation is tough to read because I think he is torn. I believe he will make a final decision soon (after OVs) on what he is going to do. He is a respectful young man and not the type to do a signing day switch.

I'll be honest, I really hope he signs with us but I feel bad for him for being in this situation because he is obviously very torn and conflicted. I also hate it for y'all. If I had to have a second favorite team it would be auburn.

"Watch for Carl to decommit after the game, then the race is on. I would not be shocked if he commits after the 11th but he might just drag it out past signing day.

I know the dad wants him at UT and they are very close, mix that with this mentor/coach is from UT and that he grew up a P. Manning fan, you have to like our chances.

He hates Bama and GA, FL is pushing hard too but he wants to start soon and they are loaded. I would hope we can beat out ole miss by just being UT."

There is a reason for that. Unfortunately some people take recruiting too personal.

I am hoping for the best come NSD. I just have a very bad feeling it will prove to be a bad day for UT recruiting wise. If we go into Feb. holding out hope to land Bell, Lawson, Green, North, and others, I fear we are going to be let down. I hope I am wrong, I just don't see things going our way. I guess the last 3-4 years will do that to a guy.
