We signed 2 from South Carolina in 2011. 2 from SC in 10, one from KY & VA in 10, 2 from VA in 07.
In the last 5 years UT has taken 1 kid from KY, 1 a year from the Carolinas, J.Hunter is the only 1 from VA. Tennessee has better talent than most give it credit for, but every year other SEC powers come in and land top guys. On average there are about 5 four-star recruits and UT will sign 1 or 2 of those guys. That number has got to change.
Heres my bold prediction of this recruiting class, lawson drops auburn after they lose to vandy. Sees how great Tennessee is on his OV against alabama. It will be a crazy atmosphere for as long as Tennessee is in the game. But then as he stated he wants to visit florida and probly some other sec schools having a great year. I see him decommiting from auburn then going to florida or geogia.
I can't see him decommiting from a team with a bad record to commit to a team with a record 2 games over .500 . That being said i think a win against bama or SC gets us into his final couple of schools. But i see him at Florida :cray:
Assuming Chizick loses to Vandy, A&M, Georgia and UA (all very likely); I think he's gone. But nothing will happen until after the season.
It is not going to be a crazy atmosphere this weekend.
Not with people like you as fans. You all should just give up the disguise and break out your crimson for the game. I get so sick of this talk by our "fans". I hear this garbage at work every day too and it makes me want to puke, then give the guy a black eye. Either get behind the team or GTFO.
lol, what?
I'm not bashing the team, I'm just being realistic. There is going to be a lot of empty seats/crimson seats there. Calm down tiger.
There may be, and it will be a really disappointing indication of how our fans choose to exercise their vendetta against our coach, rather than supporting our team.
Nothing official, but sources say Chizik has already been fired. He just hasn't been told yet and it's not public. But the decision has been made by the AU power structure (not AD) that will be making the decisions about the future of program.
