We just offered him today...Treyvon Paulk.
Looks like Butch is trying to do with Lawson what Dooley did with Darick. Do whatever it takes to sign him. Package deals with players like Darick and Lawson are worth it. (Darick was elite, just bc Dooley couldn't keep him out of trouble doesn't mean it wasn't a great pick up.)
I believe there are some Milton teammates of his Freshman, Sophmore, and Junior years at Ole Miss right now. At least, that is what I read.

I don't know where you read that but that's not true. I know all of the football players that would be juniors sophomores and freshmen and none of them play at Ole Miss and none of them play football. Lawson wasn't at Milton 4 years though so it may be other teammates from his other school.
Hmm wierd. I thought I read that somewhere. My bad on my part. Although, OM is still a threat. Auburn, Ole Miss, Clemson, and Tennessee all have a shot at him is what I've determined after reading way too much things about this guy.

I'm SURE Saban kept Kirkpatrick out of trouble. Think about this as soon as he declared for the draft he gets caught up in a traffic stop with drugs.
I have always thought that it was mysterious that Bama rarely has a player dismissed from the team for breaking team rules. It happens at every other school in the country but Bama covers it up.
But I will say in their defense that drug testing policies in the NCAA are a joke. If they were serious about it they would have random testing by a reputable outside drug testing agency to eliminate the problem. Most people think that you would have no players but you do not have a standard unless you set one. The NCAA needs to set that standard as a universal one for all schools. The lack of such a policy might also give an advantage to the schools in California, Oregon, and Washington where those states are relaxing substance abuse laws.
I really think that a kid that is dismissed from a football program could actually legally challenge the existing policies and win since they are administered in a favorable way to those who are more important to the programs.
